Kenya Airways is the one airline that links Accra directly with East Africa, every day, overnight. Kenya Airways calls itself "The Pride of Africa", and on the West Africa run it earns at least part of the title: it is the only East African carrier that comes into Accra every day. The airline was founded in 1977, after the old East African Airways collapsed, and it flies from one hub only: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Everything from Accra goes through there.
