New airports are to be constructed in Ghana’s tourism hotspot, the Central Region, and the mineral-rich Western Region to boost economic activities in the two regions and further open them up for investment, Aviation Minister Ms. Cecilia Abena Dapaah has said.

Guesthouses, often synonymous with inexpensive and sometimes quite unfortunately less quality facilities. Generally, many believe that a guesthouse is the ‘’poor man;s’’ hotel. 

The VVIP and VIP Lounges at the Kotoka International Airport will be closed down on Monday, June 12, 2017.

A notice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration said the shutdown is “until further notice.”

Source: B&F Ghana - Government is keen on accelerating the expansion of other regional airports to ease the pressure on Kotoka and boost domestic economic activity, Aviation Minister, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, has said.

She explained to the Spanish ambassador to Ghana, Maria Jesus Alonso, who paid a courtesy call on her at her office in Accra, that the Tamale airport expansion project, in particular, is a “special” one.
